To honor our commitment to serve the community, each month SCANA Energy makes a donation to a local organization. This month, SCANA donated $5,000 to Westside Works, an organization that helps Atlanta residents gain skills that will benefit them in high-demand careers.

The organization focuses on six core career pathways: Advanced Manufacturing; Culinary and Hospitality; Information Technology; Transportation, Distribution, Logistics; Healthcare; and Skilled Trades. These are Georgia’s most in-demand career pathways. Westside Works offers career services, a digital learning lab, and various training programs to help Atlantans find opportunities. To date, more than 700 residents have graduated from the program and been placed into full-time, living-wage jobs.
