To honor our commitment to serve the community, each month SCANA Energy makes a donation to a local organization. This month, SCANA donated $5,000 to Wilderness Works, an organization that helps homeless and at-risk children in Georgia.

Wilderness Works provides year-round enrichment, experimental education, and character development for local youth. The organization not only offers alternatives to the usual tech-focused activities, but they also lead those activities with compassion and enthusiasm. Children who participate in these programs are more interested in school and show improved performance, attendance, grades, and classroom behavior.
